What is even more amazing, imo, is the part where you see someone walking in the design. Now imagine people making that in the dead of night and being so precise.
We usually only see the design from above....but those ground shots that scan across the designs gives it a more realistic perspective.

Nancy Talbot says that the energy creating these circles has consciousness. From a physics standpoint energy and matter have equivalence(E=mc²). When electrons move between atoms a current of electricity is created, the atoms themselves(and the matter in E=mc²) cannot be measured without a conscious observer. A consciousness is observing what humans are not observing, otherwise matter would cease to exist when it is not being observed. There is nonhuman consciousness observing our planet and everything in our universe that humans are not observing. These crop circles are just like everything else, they are created by consciousness. What that consciousness is, that's the real question.

The crop circle designs might be a fractal created by a discharge of energy, much like a snowflake. Chaos theory can explain that aspect of crop circle formation:

I don't buy into the explanation that these things were created by some kind of atmospheric energy source. Using snowflakes as an example is hardly a comparison. Snowflakes, unlike crop circles are not 100% perfect. Although most are octagonal, no two sides are absolutely identical to the other. Furthermore, crop circles offer many different types of designs, while snowflakes are pretty much octagonal. Check out this photo of a snowflake, if you look long enough you will see the inconsistencies in the pattern.

And why, if this is an atmospheric phenomenon, why does it only appear in crops? Why not in grass, sand, or snow?

A lightning discharge is in itself a fractal. Why they occur in crops is because of stalks that can fall down to form a pattern. Sand and snow don't have nodes that react to heat.

Sorry Antrik, my intention wasn't to use you as a target. I know what you mean though. Nature has a way of making wonderful mind boggling designs. However, IMO crop circles are much too BIG, much too precise and way too complicated to be caused by nature.
