On UFO Evolution it's possible to embed videos and other media into your posts. Posting a video from the most popular video websites (YouTube/Google Video) couldn't be easier.

All you have to do is copy the URL of the video and paste it into your post. Then highlight your pasted URL and click the relevant icon on the posting interface.

(No-one can make New Topics in the Media Vault)

Example:

YouTube

The videos url is: http://youtube.com/watch?v=gGwI_3T5R_k

You just need the numbers/letters after the v=

(So in this video it would be gGwI_3T5R_k)

Paste the numbers/letters into your post then highlight and click the YouTube icon. The whole line of text should be joined up, with no spaces.

If it's a very long URL and has many numbers/letters after the v= just copy up to the & symbol.

Submit the post, and the video should now be available.

Google Videos

The videos url is:

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-107257325524661314&q=stanton+friedman&ei=zsFWSOP3O 5L-igKc68n5Dg

You just need the numbers/letters after the docid=

(So in this video it would be -107257325524661314)

Paste the numbers/letters into your post then highlight and click the Google Video icon. The whole line of text should be joined up, with no spaces.

As above. If it's a very long URL and has many numbers/letters after the docid= just copy up to the & symbol.

Submit the post, and the video should now be available.

Flash

Wrap the Flash tags around the url of your Flash file.

Submit the post and the video/file should now be available.

Dailymotion

The videos url is:

http://www.dailymotion.com/relevance/search/estranged/video/x7fys8_guns-n-roses-estranged_music

You just need the numbers/letters after the video/ but before the space.

(So in this videos it would be x7fys8)

Paste the numbers/letters into your post then highlight and click the Daily Motion icon. The whole line of text should be joined up, with no spaces.

Submit the post, and the video should now be available.

Metacafe

The videos url is:

http://www.metacafe.com/watch/422697/bugatti_veyron_on_top_gear/

You just need the numbers/letters after the watch/ but before the final /

(So in this video it would be 422697/bugatti_veyron_on_top_gear)

Paste the numbers/letters into your post then highlight and click the Meatcafe icon. The whole line of text should be joined up, with no spaces.

Submit the post, and the video should now be available.
