Speak soon................
The link (http://www.springerlink.com/content/h948002p3n4xp51x/), Cancer risks among nuclear submariners, is a PDF statistically based and corrected Yale paper that was also reviewed by a journalist which reported a n extremely high cancer rate among officers, sailors and soldiers working in and around subs with nuclear drives and nuclear weapons systems. The information is taken from military files and public sources and it does reveal allot of information about your claim. It also covers the period that your father served, in the 60s and 70s respectively. There are also many other studies that could be crossed referenced with this one. Best of luck.

Aegis, I have never read anything by Hubbard. And I assure you there is no tie with his work. As a science fiction writer he would be a poor place to begin looking for answers.

If you aren't familiar with the Church of Scientology or the works of the founder, Hubbard, how do you know there's no connection? After all, I was apart of their organization for some time and gathered some of the information myself. Do your own research on what is taught and I am sure you'll come around. Also, I would appreciate a link to your source on the Phaeton story you've been kind enough to present and elaborate for us. I would like to see it for myself before making any further judgments.

My experience has been that we tend to operate on a subliminal auto-pilot of moral philosophical articulation governed by sources of artificial cultural bias. Without internal questioning and analysis, we can find ourselves in a constant loop of contradicting external social agendas with which we are manipulated into a state of docile subservience. Economics, politics, religion, all part of the thought loop and the cultural biases implanted by this grand scheme of collectivism impelling us toward the acceptance of voluntary serfdom. All forms of media are artificially enhanced versions of what and who we are, according to the material wealth of social, corporate, architecture of the elite. It invites the brutally honest question; "Is there any thought that is my own?"
Truth is freedom of thought, though there is no material freedom. Learn it, love it, bath in it. This is your life and you have the opportunity to actually live it for you.

So then when we discover life on some distant planet someday.....we have to abide by THEIR laws and THEIR beliefs.....right???
Even if they say there is no god but they do worship statues of a gargoyle looking creature and everyone must bow whenever they pass by a statue of it.......even if they believe that all babies born with red hair must be killed and eaten?????
What if their laws and beliefs are totally offensive and disgusting to us???

Phaeton is the theory that there was a planet between Earth and Mars, where the asteroid belt is. My apologies, since I confused Phaeton with the term, Thetan, which in fact is the Scientology term naming the group that was brought to Earth to be executed by a galactic confederacy 75 million years ago. As a theory it is plausible, but some writers have embellished it in the idea that humans were transported to Earth from Phaeton before its destruction and other such things.

My take on this is this.......
No matter how much i know about my pets health, when i take one to the vets, i, as needs must ,bow to the wisdom of the vets experience
The same with a lawyer, no matter how much you know about the law, and regardlessyour personal feelings and opinions about the matter before the courts, one must bow to the wisdom and experience of your lawyer, or handle the matter yourself, and have a fool for a client.

If the "aliens" are "older" than us, if they have travelled the galaxy and perhaps even beyond to other galaxys, where we havent even fully explored our own earth, then as per the previous examples/models. it may be that we have to bow to their wisdom and experience.

Humans like to think themselves the top of the food chain, but if they can take us from our beds at will, then clearly we are not.
The reality may be a bitter pill to swallow, but swallow it we must, like it or not

As a boss told me one time when i was a teenager...Suzanne, you will always have someone in life telling you what to do or say and how to do or say it ...get used to it. LOL

As far as my God beliefs, i would like to think we have a great and powerful being looking over us. I am quite cynical in my older age at this point and need some proof of something. I have a hard time believing or worshiping a God that would allow its people to suffer as he does and do nothing.
