Apparently there are numerous underground bases in the US for reasons as yet unknown. Why hasn't the rest of the world got numerous underground bases? Why does it seem to be all about the US?

I think it's a safe bet that every major power/country on the planet has some. And as far as the US having more , well..we have more of just about everything it seems.

I would've that the EU would be riddled with underground bases complete with high speed maglev tunnels etc. Yet no stories about alien fights etc from Europe it seems?

IMO alien tales about underground fights are just that-tales ,but I'm sure the various govts of the EU have underground tunnels and bases for govt. security reasons in case of war, etc.

Lee,we had a poster that came to the boards a year or so ago.I think he was called The Voice or something like that. (does anyone remember him,what was his name?)
I wondered if he would have been willing to go on Coast to Coast with his story,he claimed to have knowledge of an underground base in England. (Does anyone remember where he said it was located) Anyway apparently his health had gone downhill and we never heard from him again.

I have heard of a few bases here in the UK but apart from the fact that underground bases for military purposes make sense there's not much else known about them.

I think underground bases in this day and age make perfect sense. I remember as a child my Dad telling us of a tunnel that went all the way up to Vermont.I remember thinking that it would be exciting to visit one,but I never heard of it again.

Guess that's the thing. This stuff is so 'out there' that it will never be taken seriously by most. We'll all continue to believe the numerous underground bases are for the elite during war times or whatever. Most of us wont give it a second thought, because our governments have a history of telling us the truth, right?
It seems people are happy living in their pleasant ville bubble.
But the few who do find some credibility in these stories, and follow up, seem to be growing. How Project Camelot came to be is case in point. There is a lot there to watch and read. I watched some of John Lear's 08 interview, the man has folders full of documents that go back sixty years, pictures and diagrams. He connects the dots in a forthright manner. I think he really believes what he is saying. As well as the founders of Project Camelot.

Why would all these people be participating in this incredible hoax? Lear is broke. Lazar also. the Camelot folks are their own videographers, appear to be straight shooters, and the stories are all interwoven, one collaborates the other.

What is there to gain when you believe these 'out there' stories? Ridicule to be sure, and innuendo about your sanity, your intelligence and so forth.
These are powerful deterrents of fringe thinking in our society, why are some not deterred?

Well some people are just plain wacky in the ufo area and why should anyone believe someone's tales if they have nothing or little to support it?
Underground military bases are one thing but all these alien tales about aliens underground are certainly sketchy.
