The First Week After Disclosure?

What your thoughts are on how the first week after disclosure whould look like. The scenario i'm proposing is as follows.

A major sighting has happend with lights over every major city in the world.

LA, Paris, London, NY, Shanghi, Tokyo and Sydney all at once hanging above those city's for an hour and then shooting off too space.

I was wondering what whould the following week be like? Let us brainstorm shall we.

i think that there will be major headlines like UFO INVASION ??? ARE WE ALONE???
that will be day 1

day 2
will have alot of press confrences whith goverment offical presidents saying that they don`t know wat those light are
and there will be people refusing this overwelming proof the curches will flood whith people whith a lot of questions phone lines will be packed whith calls

day 3
there will be some people that will panic but people will croud the streets whith sighns saying stuff like "there here" but most people will stay home and eye`s trained on the tv to see the endless shows and interviews

day 4
i think at this time the pressure on the geverments will become so great that they will be forced to make an complete disclosure

I think this could turn out to be a very interesting thread. I think many people who have claimed to have been abducted would be chased down by the media to try and get some more info.

(First 48 to 72 hours) Personally I think if the hypothetical scenario you described ever happened then, every country on this planet would deploy all their military resources. Eventually one of the more distrusting country's would get "trigger happy" and they would follow the shoot first ask questions later philosophy and then the S**t would hit the fan.

I think whoever these beings are they would probably be aware of this type of reaction from humans so I really doubt anyone with "good intentions" would show up over our planet in that many ships. And hypothetically if this scenario involving that many ships ever happened....RUN & HIDE!

On a serious note: Many, MANY people are assuming some sort of disclosure is on the horizon. "Disclosure" is just the latest buzz word/topic in ufology right now and lots of people are jumping on the band wagon. In my opinion the type of disclosure people are clamoring for right now will never happen. Also, (at least in the U.S.) more specifically, "government" disclosure is an impossibility because long ago the government was taken out of the loop as far as any information that might be known about ET or whatever they are. In the United States and many other countries if their is any information on the "ET" topic that can be disclosed then that information is held in the highest levels of the military and certain intelligence services. Sadly both groups will operate outside the law when it suits them and they always have the excuse of "national security" to fall back on when they need to justify any illegal actions.

Went back and re-read your initial post. If these craft left after an hour or so then that could be a whole different matter. I still think military resources from around the world would still be deployed as a precaution. The next move after that would depend on the actions of whoever was piloting these craft.

I also think Martin is right when he said the media would be scrambling to talk to people who claim to be abductees and that in itself could be bad...mainly because 70% to 90% of the people claiming to be abductees are not abductees. Huge amounts of misinformation and paranoia would follow after the first 24 hours of an event as you described.

:-lolSorry but I don't think that would quite do it. As long as they were here only briefly and didn't land, governments could still say it was just a series of exercises involving new craft or holographic image projection. Or maybe unusual aurorae, or meteor showers.

I agree about lack of good intentions but running and hiding may underestimate them.

If they're gone in just an hour, the emergency may be over before any real decision can be made. Then governments may decide to just hush it up.
