i've just this minute posted a new topic in the ATS forums:


being abducted by a strange unknown force is farcical

i wonder how long it will last?

One issue with the whole thing being bollocks are the similarities with fairy "abductions" and that sort of thing. If this is something built into the minds of some humans across centuries, then why?

Another issue is Betty & Barney Hill. There were numerous descriptions of the various "aliens" before the Hill case - so many that you'd be hard pressed to find two alike - yet, after the Hills, damn near every alien was some sort of "grey."

And why did Barney Hill seem to think the aliens were wearing Nazi uniforms?

It's all very odd.

Of course, the vast majority of these so-called abductees are so full of it that it's overflowing out of their ears, but that can be said of anything strange.

Well the topic I posted in the alien/ufo forum lasted about 10 minutes & was moved to the 'rant' section... Kind sums it up really, dont it..

What are your thoughts about the similarity to past fairy and succubus /incubus experiences and other paranormal contact experiences in general? Do you think this idea has merit? And do you think the idea they might be some form of consciousness projection/experience valid?

I've posted on several other ufo forums over the years and one has to be careful how they present their skeptical questions and positions on some of the more ufo/alien accepting boards. They tend not to like abrupt confrontation from newbies and it's better if you work your way in for a few days with apparent neutrality until you pounce on them. Even then many of the boards will confront you and ask you to not be so 'negative' and even ban you if you keep it up.

I'm shocked, like totally, boys. What happened to making friends and influence people?

Imo the both of you in your own way hold valuable views and approaches to our UFO subject, but I'm surprised you haven't yet internalized that going at it AGGRESSIVELY will only get you into a fight. Folks will be too upset to even listen to you.

Really Wilhelm,you believe all of the abduction stories to be bollocks? Thats curious,even if these entities can control the mind of man and make them think that theve been abducted and will go to their graves swearing it was true? Sigh,at this point in this game Im not at all sure exactly what to believe.But abduction stories seem to give a reason for it all.The young women are supposedly impregnated the fetus is removed at a later date,we all know the story.It was a reason for it all to be happening. Ok,coffees ready.
