Actually I totally agree Caro,there no longer able to take Killer Whales from the wild so there breeding them,some realize theres life outside that park those animals shouldnt be kept in captivity they should be turned loose. If you ever seen a show like this there actually wonderful,but those huge animals unless theve known no other life seem to enjoy what they do. Did you know that Killer Whales arent really whales at all but a member of the porpoise family? Tis true.

The "killer" part of the word killer whale must be way over the head of people that decide to incarcerate innocent intelligent creatures with a predilection to eat humans in the wild and then swim with them.

I watched SHAMU go through his tricks in San Diego back in the late sixties. I thought the whole routine was rather lame. Personally, I think that people exploiting wild animals for entertainment is evidence of folks with too much time on their hands.

If we ever figure out how to keep a great white shark alive in an aquarium, there will always be a highly trained primate that swims with them for a living. Killer whales rank right up with polar bears in their predilection to eat humans in the wild, if a highly trained primate decides to put on a show with trained polar bears for a living and is mauled one day he/she was better off unemployed.

I other words, if you meddle with enormous intelligent animals whose natural diet includes humans in the wild; you like being food that animals are playing with. If you do it for a living, you should add "Snack item" to your qualifications in your resume and in your eulogy, food for a living.

That makes animals part of our family. Most dog and cat owners would agree.

Hmm,I didnt think that Killer Whales ever hurt anyone until they started killing people at seaworld,btw Caro do you see that gal with the pony tail,the trainer that is flapping her hands,she was killed only weeks after that guy was nearly drowned,by the same animal.

(Ok,its going to start storming here any minute,until tomorrow then.)
