Not surprising. Here in California they no longer will circumcise a baby in the hospital right after birth. You have to make an appointment to have it done after you take the baby home and before the baby is one month old or weighs less than ten pounds!!! And they charge another $200 to do it. It used to be included in your hospital delivery bill.

While breast milk in most cases is better for the baby, shouldn't that be a personal decision...just like whether or not one wants an abortion?

It is simply amazing that these Republicons who claim they want the gubbermint out of our lives are constantly telling us what's best for us especially for women as long as it fits their religious and conservative agenda.

It's ok for people to own mega weapons and other killing machines but women shouldn't be allowed to use formula.

Bloomberg is whatever party will get him elected, not Republican. He's an independent now and has towed party lines for the left and the right. Breast-feeding is definitely not a Republican plank. In my experience, most of the nursing Nazis fall on the left side of the aisle. Now, if Bloomberg had said he wanted new mothers to breast-feed because most of them are on welfare and it's costing the taxpayers money for something the baby could get for free, well maybe then you could blame us.
