Bigfoot In Tree...?

For all the Bigfoot fans out there............
saw this on tv last night..new episode of the Bigfoot Hunter show on Animal Planet.
Real or hoax....?



more complete time frame.....the 'ape' is in the far background in the tree.

im 50 - 50 on that video.

the way that thing jumped on the tree looked totally natural on the other hand this makes me think that it might has been "programmed" to look so natural. dunno what to say :s

The eyes can play tricks on you. It could be simply branches of leaves swinging in the wind. On the other hand, it could be .....

I am not really sure what to make of this. I would tend to agree that it is unlikely that a human would risk doing that type of gymnastics in a tree (but you never know). It is possible that this could be an actual ape if the people who took the video were not fully honest about where they shot it (could it have been at an animal preserve?). The third possibility (and the one I think could be most likely) is that this is CGI. I tend to be somewhat suspicious about the oh-so-fortuitous camera angle on this. Yes, they put the guy's head in the way and they pan away to the campfire but the camera is there, on target, when it counts. That just makes me a tad suspicious.

This points out the importance of the credibility of the evidence provider. What do we know about him/them? Anything?

The video was taken 15 years ago at a wooded area close to a lake in New York and at the end they even show the lake being filmed by the same people and on the other side is some kind of festival.
The BFRO on Animal Planet interviewd the man and his family who claimed they saw nothing until they looked at the film 15 years later.
Several biologists/animal experts from New York who looked at the film say it is definitely an ape of some kind but no way to know if it's an actual bigfoot. This was all on the 1 hour tv episode of Animal Planet about 3 days ago.

Personally my gut says this is somone's pet gibbon or some other monkey, but.....?

I just looked at the first tape again. I am now convinced that what we think to be an ape is merely a droopy tree branch(s) swinging in the wind. On the other hand, I think that what is seen as something walking low to the ground is merely waving bush shrubs in the background.

No apes at all.

Darrell, I rewatched the video too and you may be on to something. If you notice, there are branches at the top of the frame that are right above the person's head. My thought is that what we see moving is actually much closer to the camera and only appear to be at the same distance as the trees further in the background.

It could very well be a leaf dangling from the closer branches and it is moving because of the heat rising from the campfire.
