I never said anything done by Gingrich or Clinton was ok in my book, far from it,what I am saying is this country needs a smart guy that knows how Washington works, now is not the time to send in a featherweight thats going to spend the first few years learning whats what. This guy knows whats what and how to get things done.

Guys like these make Obama look good by comparison, and Barack Obama isn't even my kind of leader/president. Somebody clone Reagan or sumtin ....

Ok....so now the Republican party is NOT the moral majority anymore?? All of a sudden family values are out the window if someone wants to be president??? We now think it is ok to elect someone like Newt to set a good example of moral values in our country??? HIS kind of moral values are now ok????
I really really really hope Obama is re-elected!!!!

Not to worry, we lack the funding or technology to bring him back, Miss Deetective! Seriously, I thought him a lousy actor, yet perfectly suited for his role as POTUS. The kinda leaders who get my stamp of approval at least have to be personable people persons. Ronald Reagan truly had that kind of appeal imo.

Then, as time passes they must demonstrate goodness and worldliness. A tall order for a human being, that's why so many premiers/presidents turn out a dissappointment.

Most politicians are no damn good but I'd rather vote Dem than Republican.......I think Maher sums it up nicely.

Oh, I get it just fine, Spaceboy. That seems to be the comment of last resort for liberals. We just disagree and that's OK. That's what this country is all about.

I'm very disappointed that South Carolina fell for Newt Gingrich. Gingrich is the inventor of the divisive, vituperative rhetoric that passes for political discourse in America these days. If he gets the nomination, you can bet we will have a Presidential campaign that will plumb new depths and tear this country even further apart than it is now. I can only hope that cooler, more moderate heads will prevail.

I think in the end Mr.Romney is going to be the choice. Newt swears at the ripe old age of 69 hes sowed his wild oats and is now a new reborn christian, who knows maybe he is but you can bet that women everywhere are not going to cotten to the fact that hes now married to the "other woman".Yuppers he married the third Mrs.Gingrich after he found out his second wife has MS.Reads like a corny soap opera huh..

Without the slightest expertise on my part, if I think it through, I think you are right, Carol. Mitt Romney may turn out to have the widest appeal to Republicans and free-floating voters in the end. There's just a trickle of dirt on him (screwed the pooch, and the American worker force), but these workers are either too busy, or asleep under a bridge with their whole family. And dogs don't testify, in marked contrast to EX-WIVES .
