Default the apparant choice of futures ...

The way I see it, we have a choice of potential futures. In one, we have the choice of continuing to exploit our in ground resources of coal and oil at the sacrifice of our environment in order to re-employ many of our conventional laborers of those fields of endeavor, or ... we can boldly retrain and educate folks to reduce our dependancy on unrenewable resources in favor of new technologies using renewable resources like solar, wind, geothermal and tidal motions. Somehow I seem to favor breathing clean air, drinking clean water and eating food grown in uncontaminated soil -- thus considering environmental concerns very important. Additionally, I personally would rather be above ground installing wind mills and solar panels than below ground toiling for coal, oil and gas. But that's just me.

So yes, there is a choice in presidential visions as presented by the two presidential candidates. I think Obama's vision makes the most sense in the long term.

It's definitely time we moved forward to new technologies and it's more likely to happen with Dems than the GOP....but will the conservatives see the need or just block it since it's not their idea..?

Expect nothing and you’ll never be disappointed.

Let's discuss the cost of energy in imperial terms and trade blood for oil, they're just liquids.
