Jellyfish crop circle appears in field

A spectacular crop circle shaped like a jellyfish has appeared on farmland in Oxfordshire.

The 250m (600ft) design, which turned up in a field near Ashbury last week, is believed to be the first of its kind in the world.

Crop circle expert Karen Alexander said: "We have seen butterfly and bird patterns in the past, but this is the first jellyfish crop circle in the world.

"It is absolutely huge - roughly three times the size of most crop patterns and extremely interesting. People have been aghast at the size of it. It is a complete monster.

"We are looking into the meaning of it, but at present it just seems to have appeared out of nowhere."

The owners of the land say whoever created the design caused about £600 of damage - but they called the shape "beautiful" and say they have reported the trespassers to the police.

Did you mean the damage in money Carol? If so it's about $1000.

lol,ooops,thats what I meant,thanks guys.A thousand bucks of damage,you would think with all the damage done the local police and farmers would be outraged by all of this.Farmers for the most part eek out a living if everything goes right,a thousand dollars of damage puts a bite into the profit kitty of that farmer,yet you never hear of the police doing anything about this.I wonder why?

It still makes me wonder how humans can make such a large and complex circle without getting caught in the act!!! Just seems impossible that they can continue to make these large intricate designs overnight and never be detected at it.

Perhaps ET is now trying to tell us that they are all really " jelly-fish " and not " humanoid shaped ",

Dee its the flawlessness that gets me,this are just spectacular.Imagine as I might someone doing these using a crude means and I cant do it,why are there never any mistakes,with these being done in the dead of night its impossible that there arent any errors. Look how those tentacles (typed that very slowly) narrow at the end,and yet were supposed to believe that someone stomping the crop down accomplished this,I dont believe it and never will.Those videos showing crop circles being done in Austrailia by men are ever so simplistic by comparison.Its like looking at a painting by DiVinci and another of the same subject matter only done by numbers,hats off to whoever is responsible tho,thats quite a job well done.
