now that's wierd! seems to me to be totally cgi, but how to prove it? is there any background info?

Thanks! Mysteries give me an ache. I found that the "cover-up" began at least as early as 1997!! A 15 year, multi-agency obscuration! Well, on second thought, maybe not.

Thomas Jones, a former shuttle mission specialist ... was on that mission — STS-80, which also took place in 1996 — and provided this description of the footage. "A few ice crystals ... are floating by, get hit by a thruster ... and zip out of the scene."
