I think that you and I have different perspectives, Dr. Wu. 200 years ago, we were still driving the cart to town for supplies and lighting the candles or lantern to pierce the darkness. Furthermore, considering the centuries before the industrial age of the 19th century, things get darker and harder for people.

I'm thankful to the Industrial age, we prospered in it, flourished really. The playing field shifted however, with our financial system and cracking the atom. Suddenly, their is a UFO wave that is reported upon all around the world. It isn't that they haven't been seen before, throughout the age they have been seen. But the amounts of sightings by pilots and military personal is impressive! Not to even mention that tensions were already high with the Cold War possibilities draped over the shoulders of every one. After the saucers became embroiled into our culture (someday fated to be myth I imagine) things started advancing in certain area's at an accelerated rate. The breakthroughs in medical technology is quite amazing in my estimation. From the equipment we use, to the medicine we create. It's an impressive leap forward in my opinion. As is the technological breakthroughs in physics, biochemistry, aircraft design, electronics and the list can go on and on. |

Hopefully, in new discovery, it will bring us all back into an industrial age. Blessings Nimue |

Ahhh but look how long it took to go from the invention of the wheel to automobiles and then compare that to how quickly we advanced from Roswell to now. In just a little over 60 years we have gone from airplanes to space shuttles....from computers that took up a whole room to laptops Ipods!!!! Did we suddenly experience a boost in our evolution?????

Did you bother to read the link about this..?
Try reading it again. It's a logarithmic change based on change in technology. It's supposed to happen like that. ![]() |

It's all down to the discovery of electricity IMO....... Once highly intelligent dedicated humans got their heads around this amazing new energy & found ways to utilize this power, it's suddenly mushroomed into to what we have today... A simple logical progression IMO> & nothing to do with aliens..... Though who really knows!?!? Well, to be honest I think we all would by now if it had some validity> after 70 years
