UFO Crashes

Have you ever wondered why there have been so many ufo crashes in the USA? If these are intelligently controlled craft by creatures far advanced technologically compared to us, why all the crashes? Or is it possible that these are shootdowns? (and if shootdowns, by whom?)

Actually never, to me it is an axiom that the moment you fly something it may crash, and in time it will.

And seeing that these guys do so without wings, it may be they aren't flying at all, relying on free energy, hidden electromagnetic waves or surfing multiverse membranes or something (I haven't got a clue I PROMISE, Darrell!), cosmic forces which could have elements of lawfulness and chaos (like our weather), depending on where you use them: in space like a charm, perhaps near planets chances are you need that escape pod and to phone home.

So I am expecting more crashes, and I want a piece.

Given the age of the universe, the age of our planet....the ratio may be extremely small for all we know. How many crashes do you count in the USA?
I highly doubt ANY civilization...no matter how advanced is above making mistakes, or running into problems that can result in accidents.

Other than Roswell, where we know something crashed but not actually proven to be alien, which other crashes have ever been 'verified'?
The only other one with actual witnesses and believability was the Kecksburg event and many even in the ufology crowd think that might have been an actual space capsule.

Very doubtful. Had it been mere space junk, it would've been revealed long ago. Anything from '65 is antiquated by now.

The phenomenon itself provides ample evidence of this besides crashes. Some UFOs were apparently "conking."

Of course I can't verify any of these claimed crashes. I found this list on YAHOO!. I saw a map of the USA on one of the UFO FILES reruns I watched a couple of days back that showed several dozen UFO crash sites, which is what got me wondering.

Since most alien bodies and craft debris are reportedly sent to Wright-Patterson AFB, I'm sure that they would be able to confirm the list. HE HE HE (meteors and swamp gas and Venus seen through clouds)

Some were at least seen first by the public, but you can't expect ordinary people to recover and hide a sizeable craft.

Displaying odd flight pattern and/or making strange noises as if experiencing mechanical trouble.

Crashes or actual crashes (many may be hoaxes) represent only a tiny fraction of UFO reports--many one in a million--not a bad safety record compared to NASA probes.

Sure, possible--the US and other governments.

Sure, possible--the US and other governments.

How about the possibility of aliens malevolent to the US being shot down by aliens friendly to the US? (or at least with opposing interests)
