How could alien abductions be done?

I know,for those of you that swear youve experienced this this title of this thread is enough to make you mad,but weve got to explore every possibility and thats what were going to do.So,how is it done? How does the selection process worK? Or,is it just random.? Its always struck me as an unexplored area that we dont examin any further than we do.The why of it has me stuck,but then the entire enigma is designed so that there are no answers ,its kind of like that program that was on last year, Lost.The writers could let loose with their imaginations because in the end there are no answers.

That is part of the problem as I alluded to in another thread....the whole area is rife with tricksters and wacky believers to the point that its hard to know what's legitimate and what's not. And this doesn't even take into account the often bizarre nature of the phenomenon itself.

Yes,the fact that these people continue on past their own experience ,I wonder if that means they have nagging doubts that what the believe theve experienced is a complete representation of what actually happend.

If you really want to explore this question seriously, you first need to come up with a definition of what an "alien abduction" is thought to be. For example, does it involve physical entities? Does it involve actual physical displacement of the victim? Can it be witnessed by non-victims? Does it include trace evidence? Are higher dimensions of reality involved? I don't see how you can postulate how "alien abduction" might be accomplished before you know exactly what it is and is not.

Hmm,interesting Darrell,but heres what I believe is supposed to happen. A man or women is sound asleep late at night,they may have another person in the bed with them but it doesnt seem to matter.The other person will become paralyzed and not wake during this occurance.The abductee swears there removed from the safety of their own bed and floated thru a window or a wall onto an awaiting space craft.Once onboard a routine but often horrifying exam takes place and the person male or female has eggs or semen taken from them.Women report being shown a child at a latter date,they know because they are told that the child is theres. Is that what you mean Darrell?

What I have a burning need for is the desire to know what the hell we are talking about. If you think you have been abducted by aliens, does that make it true? If you think you are physically displaced but in fact are not, does that invalidate the experience? What if the event only occurs inside your brain?

To me, a working definition is necessary in order to postulate methods for actuation. Can you tell me how to start an auto engine without knowing what kind of engine is involved? Of course not. So forget dictionaries and decide what you want to consider here and can support with credible case histories. With that, we might be able to postulate methodologies that could cause it.

Tell me that an alien abduction might be a multi-dimensional spirit entity removing its victim in only the time domain to imprint an experience in the victim with no witnesses and I defy you to devise a methodology for making it happen!

then for you the answer to the thread question is both trivial and simple: it's done by magic! (anything that others can do that we do not understand meets the definition of magic)

You crack me up on a regular basis......
I was merely posting an accepted definition within the ufo community of 'alien abduction'....if anyone wants to get into weirder or alternative ideas ..go for it.
