A mass UFO sighting stunned residents of Santiago, Chile Tuesday, and two videos of the spectacular display have been uploaded to the Internet. What's really compelling about this event, is its fairly close proximity to a mountain in Argentina, where cultists are planning a mass suicide Friday.

It's pretty tough to make out exactly what the origin of these glowing orbs are, but they are clearly not conventional aircraft. You can also rule out Chinese lanterns. The bizarre lights seem to be intelligently controlled, and hover in the same position for several minutes. They are in perfect formation, and at times pulsate like strobes.

Does this prove, unambiguously, that Earth is being visited by extraterrestrials? This UFO sighting occurred a 12 hour drive from Cordoba, Chile, where there is a mountain being closed because of the Mayan Apocalypse Prophecy. Authorities shut all access points to Uritorco Mountain, over fears that cultists would commit suicide on December 21. Is it possible this UFO encounter was somehow connected to the Mayan Doomsday?

Cheers, Martin. This is spectacular footage. I'd like the most skeptical experts in the world to explain how anything man-made can do that.

Not sure what to make of this one. I mean they could be remote controlled models being flown around by hobbyists. I'd also love to see a daylight shot of this to see where the mountain that is mentioned is in relation to the guy who filmed this. The city is near the Andes after all.

Could the lights be from vehicles on a mountain road?

Still, I'm not entirely certain what it is I'm seeing, but it is one of the better footages I've seen for a long time.

I don't think they are the same thing. They aren't making the same maneuvers. The objects in the first video hovered. This video also shows them hovering. I'd say helicopters if the first video didn't show the objects moving so fast.



Another thing that this third video shows is one object coming out of another object(@ 3:35) and objects that appear out of nowhere to join the formation.

Ive gotten so used to being fooled by these videos Im skeptical until Im proven wrong.Btw Jurg,in that footage you showed I thought I saw the outline of a plane,I didnt take not of where on that video but if anyone clicks that on wait until about the middle of the footage and wonder how the person taking those shots did so.

Ok its 1:09 to 1:29 ,on or about 1:09 is that a strobe light I see on top of that craft?

I honestly don't see it Carol. But I don't care at all for these vids anymore. For all we know it's CGI, an RC toy or a balloon with LED lights on it. Don't think it's a plane though... they usually don't lit up like X-mas trees. Let's just call it a hoax for now.
