I agree that it should be a UN function, but I think there needs more balance by adding women to the power of decision making (thankfully this has finally been happening). I think there are many men who have control issues with power and can't always see beyond them, and people as a whole could really benefit from the addition of different persepectives (and men should be open and allow them). Sounds like from what little information is in the article, that some man somewhere didn't want to give up power, and Cooper changed his mind on what was. Maybe I'm wrong....I am totally guessing
