I'm twixt and 'tweem. I want the fun of believing in alien invaders, but whenever I look too closely, all I see is mundane and ordinary answers. It's like looking at an abstract painting. At a glance it is awe-inspiring. But if you look too close it is just blobs of paint.

Chris what have you concluded regarding the Betty and Barney Hill case?

Regarding the stem cell research idea....why would they need to go to all the trouble to mutilate cows in the dark and outside when all they have to do is buy some and harvest what they want on a private compound somewhere...same for the aliens...they could kill all the cattle they want in private. To me the way it's being done makes no sense at all unless they want the carcasses to be found.

i don`t really have all the answers dr wu , only wild goose chases. There has been over 10000 Cow mutilations past 40 years, but seems like the peak in mutilations were in mid-1970s to the mid-1990s, of course the phenomena still occurs from time to time.

You ask why not raise their own cattle in government lands? , i don`t have the answer on that. We all can speculate that.

They probably just want carcasses to be found and shock people, there is this "mystery" behind the whole phenomena and it frightens the people. Now Cattle mutilations has been investigated and they have overruled :animal attacks, and satanic cults. There`s only 2 options left government or little gray men

I'm not sure that natural processes has completely been dismissed. There are mis-identifications. And some investigations, like one here locally, discovered it was an animal attack. This was mentioned in a thread somewhere before.

No one has ruled on anything...those who believe in the mutes believe those two ideas...most think it's all natural causes of one type or another. And the figure of 10,000 is meaningless since its based on those who believe in the first place it's mutilation and not natural causes. That's the cart before the horse.
Paul Kimball who posted here recently did a documentary on it and he believes it is not due to either aliens or covert ops. While I entertained the idea of covert ops for a while my best guess these days is that it's due to various weird situations of natural predators and scavengers, etc.
Other than the fact that some looked weird in the way they were found there has never been one bit of physical evidence to show it's aliens or covert ops. In one or two cases a long time ago someone claimed they found some chemicals like formaldeyde, etc but beyond that we have nothing to lead us in any concrete direction on those two fronts.
There have been a few cases where the locals saw 'ufos' in the area in the time frame of finding dead cattle but we have no way of knowing if that means the ufos were related tp the deaths or if the ufos were even 'real alien ufos'. It's all speculation.

Of course there`s animal attacks , i don`t believe all 10000 cattle kills are mutilations, shame no one has ever made stats in how many cases the cows blood has been drained out i would really like to know that number.
