Disclosure -Not so easy to do

If extra terrestrials were simply folks with advanced technology here on some exploration mission, I know that governments would welcome them and gladly inform the public. For me the reasons why disclosure hasn't happened lies in the words "Advanced technology".
Left to our own devices even our own (Human) science is set to reveal a multitude of truths that we are far from being ready for.
eg's:-
1 - Stem cell research will enable our grandchildren or at worst their grandchildren to live forever without ageing or becoming sick.
2 - CERN and other quantum phyics labs will show that the past, present and future are all running at the same time.
3 - The full nature of reality will be exposed to reveal the true multi-dimensionality of space time.

4 - Etc, etc

Its clear to me that many alien civilisations will have a complete and interactive knowledge of all of the above and more. The list of well documented alien (Exotic science) events is endless and includes time distortion, invisiblity, selected visiblity, telepathy and so on.

So if governments were to disclose matters (on Aliens) - It might read something like this:-

1- Extra-Terrestrials have made contact with Earth.
2- They have the science to enable us to live forever without ageing or dying.
3- We can be re-united with loved ones that have passed on.
4- They have told us that as humans we are comprised of three levels of consciousness.
a) We have an eternal super-conscious mind that is in itself just a group of cells that functions independently. This group of cells (our true essence) is in communication with and is indeed part of an even greater universal "Whole".
b) We have a sub-conscious mind that runs all automatic functions of the mortal human frame we currently reside in. This mind also logs all events in the present life and often conflicts with the perceived intentions of the conscious mind.
c) We have a conscious mind that evolves with the current human frame which we falsely assume to be a true independent life form.

I'm convinced that most of us can visualize and welcome a cosmos packed full with other civilizations. I often conjure up visions of all the beautiful planets that we are destined to visit and to live on. All of us will easily wish to accept aliens into our futures but how on Earth can governments make ready the minds of an entire mortal economy for the transition -Its a logistical nightmare.
The only evidence I have to support this theory lies in the eyes of recently elected world leaders. At one moment they are buoyant candidates seeking office, and the next (after their post election briefing) -they seem subdued for a few days. This "face" I've seen worn by Tony Blair, Bill Clinton, George Bush and even president Obama. I think their briefings hit them hard - not only with the reality of alien contact but also with the true gravity of what their science brings to the table. Am I barking mad. What do you think.........?

Not at all. All you've suggested is quite possible. Who knows; this could be happening right now but for me there's absolutely no evidence to support it- or anything like it. Someone like your good self will no doubt start throwing in a few <but what about xxx case> as a rebuttal but it will only be a: "'I either believe what I'm told or I don't story"" which in my opinion really means nothing when debating so called evidence!

Thanks for jumping in on this, Dej. My stock response to any "disclosure" discussion is "prove there is anything to disclose." Personally, I think we have not had disclosure because the governments of this world have nothing to tell us. Anyone who argues otherwise has something to sell you.

Barking mad is probably a great description. I'm guessing any leader would know that the kind of disclosure you discuss might be very grave for this planet. We're already over populated using up all the resources. Living forever would destroy the economy and billion dollar health and drug industries. As for mind capabilities, knowledge could cause more mental illness than there already is, and leaders would believe national security to be highly threatened. I like to think we are intelligent enough to handle it, but its going to take some great leaders teaming together to accomplish it imo.

Being the open minded individual I hope you are; has it ever occurred to you that the reason nothing has been disclosed is because there is "nothing to disclose"? You must at least consider this as a possibility, surely?
People like your good self will probably rebut with something like: "the evidence is overwhelming= there is something to disclose"!
To which I'd say: "evidence that you've acquired via a story, in a book someone is selling"... is this basically true or not? think about it

Certainly I've thought about the possibilities but the logic stands with greater reason on why leaders would rather believe silence in the matter is better...for not only the reasons I mention above but also for the sake and survival of religion and the monetary systems they hold with it as well. The upset of status quo as we know it would be mountainous with disclosure, and it makes logical sense as to why a leader would believe disclosure would destroy the history and current systems we have in place. There is something to disclose and they know it --they don't have a manned station guarding the outside of this planet for nothing -- I would bet my last dollar on it!

dej , there`s lots of disclose, who killed kennedy?, what dropped to roswell?, why US and Nato countries are flying around with black triangles which obviosly use some kind of advanced propulsion system?. Why we have huge lengthy underground tunnels, huge underground shelters, which are only available for wealthy inviduals not the casual folk? Everybody pays taxes, i think we have the right to know where our money goes?
