Carol, it they did I'd be so glad I hadn't been holding my breath until such disclosure. I call that too little too late. Abductees and their families have lived and died wrestling with this terrifying phenomenon, and so have many of their fams/loved ones.

Honestly, I'd blow it off.

Personally I've studied the stuff myself, drawn my own conclusions and yes I think abduction by large represents a psychologically intrusive, and warlike action on the part of (some) aliens. Me plus family are as prepared as we can be (and 4-yearly vote for the sanest/friendliest face on the premirial ballot no matter, I'm not waiting for what the leadership tells me.)

My working model includes the expectation of some decent aliens too. Cosmic/Transdimensional friends who may come in useful.

Thanks for being serious, Carol, and so am I ! Like I said, it's part of a model attempting to explain alien visitors and their antics. And basic to my model is the idea that our world, life and the universe were not created by the Christian version of the Creator umpti-thousand years ago. God almighty was not busy for seven days (or periods) creating Angels, earthly life and Adam and Eve, followed by the fall into rebellion/sin/evil by first some Angels (initially Satan + angelic followers), then the Fall of the first humans (Adam and Eve), at which point God and Man went separate ways, and history began, filled with tragedy, perversity and violence and especially suffering, disease, and death/murder.

So I hold that Aliens are not Demons or Evil Angels in the religious Christian sense. Rather, that some of them are so badly behaved so as to FIT into the Demon category. Some aliens are very scary bad guys, bad like our Demons of faith.

And others are like Angels (half decent / sane / benevolent ), others like God (or the gods), projecting the most powerful and supposedly good image. Thinking this category 'friendly' or 'pals' would be presuming too much. But at least these fellows/gals have imo the potential to take a shine to Mankind, accidentally stumble over millennia into genuinely LIKING US.

The whole demons & angels thing above seems misidentification. We made these weird visitors, depending on their nicer or horrendous behavior into the Host of Heaven, populated with thousands of deities, good powerful spirits, and malevolent eaters of souls. Some Visitors probably encouraged religion and worship, to facilitate our contact.

And I expect the true origin of Aliens to be an evolution, separate from our own. Perhaps billions of years ongoing. Perhaps on a far away planet. Or in an alternate Universe. And evolution tends to generate humongous variation in body shapes, in survival strategies as well as INTELLIGENCE AND ETHICS. Evolution predicts aliens (smarties) to range from kind and good all the way to satanic.

Aliens, zombies or whatever, I think I would be petrified first, and then I may decide to stay put. Unless they were right around the corner, I am not sure there would be one place of another that would be safer than another in that case.

I think if you were in a suburb or rural area, I'd stay put. If you were in one of the big urban areas, I'd say try to make a run for it.

An example of the horror is Syria. Complete break down of civilization. Money gone. Food gone. Homes gone. 1/3 of the population wandering streets and towns trying to figure out what to do.

A hostile alien invasion would not be good.
