Tesla Deathray Shot Roswell Saucer

I caught this in a few second segment of Ancient Aliens. Tracked it down and it is a lively internet buzz. I suppose it may have some origins in Day After Roswell, Tesla's mystique and association with Wright Army Air Base in 1943, nad I even found a very specific, "...Lockheed Martin pilot shooting down the Roswell UFO possibly with the Tesla death ray..." which seems to come from the late 2007 DVD "From Here to Andromeda," by David Sereda.

I don't see where anyone connected the massive storm in the area mid June 1947, nor the numerous airplanes that crashed (shot down by UFOs in 1946 and early 1947) in New Mexico, nor the massive build up of air power in May 1947 in Texas by General Ramey - all proving that this was a retaliatory strike against the aliens.

This is one of the most clever pieces of folklore I've seen in a while connecting Tesla with the Roswell crash. It would make a great science fiction movie.

Anyone else know more about this legend?

Might just be someone suggested this idea recently and as the name, Tesla, is surrounded by some sort of mystery already, the ufo croud jumped on the bandwagon and hitched a ride. Never heard off these two tales connected like this. The only thing I know about the death ray being connected to something is the Tunguska event, although that happened in 1908.
So now we have back-engineered technology like optic fiber, thanks to a death-ray from which we don't really know if it exists or not, nor do we know for sure we have back-engineered technology to begin with... paints a just enough blurry picture to keep the bandwagon rolling.

or ... the FBI and Army seized upon Tesla's technology in 1943 to battle Japan and Germany, and in a few years cobbled together a weapon, but the war ended. They then realized they could use their new weapon to stop the alien invaders cold. That's why it was so critical to get the saucer to Wright for a thorough examination of how the weapon did what it did to them. However, it also wreaked havoc with the atmosphere causing massive storms. They couldn't use it except in extreme circumstances because of collateral civilian damage. So ... that leads us to .., HAARP.

If they have a 'death ray' it's not working since 'alien visits' seem to be still around and increased by most accounts.

I recall reading in a Tesls bio that he claimed to have thoughts in his head at times that gave rise to his tech ideas and he said he thought they might be from non earthly sources, but then he was a bit strange/eccentric by all accounts.

It sure sounds like HPLovecraft but I don't know which tale.

Yeah, Nyarlathotep. Said that a youthful Lovecraft attended a lecture by Tesla once, but no one has pinned down the date he was at Providence. HPL was mocking Tesla.
