UFO Police Video Baffles Experts?

Unexplained video of a UFO captured by a police helicopter has baffled experts.

The infrared footage shows a spherical object racing across the LA skyline.

The video also shows liquid pouring out of the rear of the mystery craft.

The UFO was filmed by Long Beach Police on Christmas Day in 2004. But no officer has ever commented on the eerie happening in California.

"Sceptics say it's space debris burning up in the atmosphere, or a military flare on a parachute, with hot ash coming off it.

"Believers say it's an alien spacecraft releasing probes."

A street lamp would not be that high up though.
Why would space debris be...."racing across the skyline"?? Wouldn't it be falling downwards towards Earth??
Cannot say for certain that is of alien origins but whatever it is, it is sure a strange looking phenomena, imo.

I think the angle of the shoot is what makes it appear that something is falling down, when probably it's just a piece of metallic space junk being liquefied by friction.
