Sorry to disappoint you Carol but I believe that your religious beliefs are doing the talking here and not any kind of logical position.
Believing that 'demons' (as in Biblical beings from God's reality..) even exist in the first place is a matter of faith and nothing else. It stems from ancient superstitious religious models that our ancestors used because they had no other way to explain reality and the things that happened. How does one explore this or test it in any meaningful way? By default it becomes a faith based belief.
It makes sense, imo, to call them unknown beings or ED if you don't want to use the ET version. It remains within the realm of possible examination and scientific testing. If we commit to actual demons from religious belief then we might as well all hang it up , forget about logic and science, go home and attend church, because in the end then human actions are meaningless since God controls it all anyway.

No Dr.Wu,Id be lost on a religious form I really would,I dont know nor do I believe that anyone knows enough about God and religion to help us.I do know that when I opted for demonic I was a bit thunderstruck at how it all fit,the morphing,the walking thru walls,the idiotic conversations that man has had with these entities,it all fits.Its at times like this that I say to myself its time to trust in the Lord.

I have read about 'demonic possession' over the years in the course of reading about the paranormal in general. I tend to think it's mental and psychological disturbances even though some cases are very intriguing.
Exorcism has worked in some cases but then the person 'possessed' probably thinks that's real too just like their 'possesssion' which is why it works.
I'm agnostic so I leave the door open but I have never read about a case that was ever really confirmed in any objective manner.

I use the medical model below for now ,but I won't rule out the possibility that 'unknown entities' could do this.
