That there was a big name in science that would be willing, no not willing ,that has stuck his neck out if only among others of his ilk that went headlong into the ufo phenomenon and believes what? What do you believe Mr.Science Man,what are your inner thoughts regarding ufos and such,are you convinced,I sure hope your son didnt talk you into looking into this phenomenon but its going to be someone thats not associated with the phenomenon at all thats going to gain national attention because of his unprovable observations.

It's nice to have scientific credentials or understanding when approaching a subject such as UFOs; however, not many scientists would be all that interested on a professional level due to there being nothing much to examine, experiment, predict, and observe.

Wilhelm has hit it on the head - it's hard to get scientists interested because none of the methods or tools they have at their disposal are effective in finding a solution to the mystery. It's like asking a carpenter - if there's nothing to be hammered or sawed, why would it be of interest to them professionally?

I really have given up any hope that we will see a solution to the UFO enigma. For whatever reason, we hold no cards in this game. We have no leverage. We have no weapon with which to force a resolution. The only thing that can change is that whatever it is that is responsible for UFOs will change its mind and decide to reveal itself. Otherwise, we will be like the hundreds of generations before us and die without knowing.

I don't think we will have any main stream scientists interested in this until someone offers huge funding and I wonder are we ready for the answers cos I'm almost positive they won't be what we expect!

For many years, plenty have been interested but it's a taboo subject and they just can't get funding--why should the government fund publicly accessible studies when it may be paying a fortune for secret work? True, publicly known evidence is meager, but there's still some, like landing traces, burned areas, photos etc.

If and when the government chooses to reveal what it knows regarding UFOs they had best be prepared for what will follow,they havent seen anything yet.

Carol, not sure why you'd think I think Vallee would be our man. He knows nothing more for sure than any of us. And Star, why you think the government holds the secret totally eludes me. Do you watch the news? The government is not any kind of brain trust. They know nothing more for sure than any of us.

The difference between Vallee and the government is that Vallee is actually interested in the phenomenon. The government has far too many other problems to give UFOs a second thought.

When I read Vallee I knew he was onto something,its a phenomenon with zero answers I believe its designed that way,but why? Ive thought and thought on this and come up with whatever is behind this,wants to be like God having humans hoping against hope that hes for real,that he really exists.Its the closest this entity can ever come to being God like.
