The Truth On Rendlesham?

Not to take this thread off track, but I was wondering ...

If ETs are here now and have been here throughout the history of mankind, and supposedly 10 to 20 UFO sightings are reported each day on average, why do we have to be arguing about Rendelsham or Roswell? Why aren't we discussing things that happened yesterday, last week or at least last month? Being neither believer nor disbeliever, I feel the need to ask: "where's the beef?"

Is there anything?? How's about you putting up an interesting case for discussion that's happened within this time span, or within the past year or 2 if ya like.. I'm all ears.

We do try to discuss current sightings....but, as usual, the resident skeptics quickly label them as....chinese lanterns, swamp gas, blimps, satellites, meteors....and just about anything BUT a possible alien ufo!!!!The discussion gets shot down before it gets off the ground.
I pretty much just sit back and read more than post because it is always the same old thing. I miss the lively debates we used to have though.

I agree but it seems like many who frequent the ufo forums want to rehash these 'classic cases' over and over. In the end that's what mostly gets talked about. That's one reason I try to read the books to see what new cases are mentioned but most of the ufo writers seem to also rehash the same cases and info.
The only new case that has received some notoriety is the Romanek contacts.
But unless an investigator publishes new and interesting cases the only thing left are you tube vids and the odd pic.

That's partially true but personally I have no interest in ufos seen in the sky. I have always thought it a waste of time. Even with pics people just argue about whether or not it's a real ufo then depending on what they believe call it an alien craft or weather ballon. I don't even look at most of the ones posted here anymore.

Over the years the only cases I have been interested in are the close encounters and high strangeness contacts. IMHO that will be where we discover the truth.......assuming we ever do.

Good for you Orange,nice going. The idea of its being "space aliens" is supposed to make us feel foolish,I dont feel foolish believing that at all.Before this president we were dead set on exploring space,if we landed on a planet teeming with life all we would be feeling is yippee and I told ya so.If others found there way here so be it,thats really here nor there.How were handling it is perplexing to say the least.Abductions,interfering with missles,tracking passenger planes.The list goes on,while our government seems helpless as a new born baby. This could be nothing more than to successfully knock Rendlesham out of its top place standing.Knock it out and the rest will soon follow,but not all of us are ready for that.

You forgot to mention CGI fakes. Pulling recent data to pieces (namely vid footage) is about all it deserves IMO! You're moaning about the skeptics (of which there are but a few) yet they seem to win the day & believers seldom, if at all, put up a reasonable rebuttal IMHO. Could it be you now sit back & watch because deep down you're starting to see the bleeding obvious? hmmmm, interesting Missy

I don't think anyone is trying to make people feel foolish. Perhaps some believe too easily in these cases and others are too skeptical.
Shouldn't we lean toward the skeptical side when we are dealing with the unknown until we get good solid reasons to think otherwise....or should we just believe that all of these cases are real aliens?
Granted there are debunkers out there but there are also many who believe at the drop of a hat. Where's the balance..? I like to think I try to balance my belief in the ufo phenom with my skepticism about what it may or may not be.

In my case I'm just simple that way, Darrell: once the topic says The Truth On Rendlesham? I tend to ramble on (and on and on ) about this subject.
