Of course not but the fact you would base any belief on an unsupported ufo tale is very funny.

Do you deliberately not understand this?

60 years from not even having cars, to getting a rocket into space, and that's before 1947. So how did they do it? If ufo crashes are how we get our technology, then what ufo did the v-2 rocket come from. What ufo did automobiles come from?

Please show me where I stated a "belief" here!!! What I think and what I believe are not the same.
To say that I think someone is telling the truth...is not the same as basing a belief in it. To ME...a belief goes much deeper.

As usual, you are beginning to annoy me...again. I am just going to call it a wash....you and I only seem to agree eye to eye on politics....better we stick to that.

If the questions are annoying, it's because you prefer to not know the answers.

There is no mystery as to how we got to our current level of technology, and it is completely impossible for any known tech to have come from anywhere else but the human mind, since we have such a detailed history of the predecessors of such technologies.

If Corso thinks that we got this stuff from a crashed flying saucer, then he was proven wrong before he even put pen to paper for his book.

If there is some unknown tech that came from non-human devices, then that's great, but we, the public, have seen zero results from any such work yet.

Maybe this is what happened to all this supposed Roswell tech:

For me the bottom line is that there is no actual evidence (only verbal tales and mostly from Corsos book btw...) to support the claim that some of our recent tech was reverse engineered from alien wreckage. But there is plenty of known evidence and facts that humans discovered this tech on their own. In order to think that it was alien tech one has to create a conspiracy scenario simply from anecdotal tales and personal speculation. It's simply not enough imho to base anything on.

You mean to say that you are not of the belief that the CIA has created a fake history of the past few hundred years (at least), and secreted thousands of books into libraries, thousand of papers into scientific journals, articles into old newspapers, all seemingly in existence prior to 1947, but in actuality just the product of a massive disinformation campaign, the scale of which is mind-boggling?

So thorough are they, in fact, that if someone had one of these books or magazines or newspapers collecting dust in their attic, untouched for decades, that somehow the CIA also got in attics across the world to "correct" the history of mankind?

You're saying that you don't believe this to be plausible?

Because all of that would need to be true for any of our current tech to be back-engineered from a flying saucer, and not the product of a known, Eathling lineage.

Now that you state it that way maybe they did create this whole hidden history and everythng we know is wrong.
I mean the electric can opener, toaster, and microwave are pretty remarkable inventions also.
I may have to rethink my whole paradigm.

Let me tell you, I'd be really upset to know that the CIA was in my Grandpa's attic, messing with all his old scientific books and journals and whatnot.

Mind-bendingly massive conspiracies are all well and good, but messing with my family makes this a whole different ballgame.

And forget can-openers, I have a pizza-cutter that plays a song as you cut slices of pizza, but when you stop cutting, the song stops! I mean, what kind of sorcery is that? You can't prove that Earth-men created such wonders.
