Na, there are good witnesses even multiple ones, for these cases, and corroborating physical proof. There may not be proof of intent to harm but it sure looks that way.

I don't think anybody really wants to believe a phenomenon with extraordinary powers causes harm on purpose. But there's plenty of evidence--not just these cases--that it does cause harm, and probably intentionally e.g. Michalak didn't report getting hurt just by getting close to the thing, it zapped him.

and Im betting that ufo was built to anticipate that very event,not enough to kill anyone just set his shirt on fire.Now why does that sound funny to me..Im betting with nothing whatsoever to back it up that these dudes come to explore and exploit.They dont harm us because they would blow there cover,somehow theres an unwritten agreement between us and them.We cant seem to do anything about it but if the world knew for sure and without a doubt that ufos and aliens were real not only would every light in the night sky become a ufo but people really would panic,after all for those that scoff at the idea Ill bet they have a nervous moment or two.Maybe in the long run,the long long run handling the way its being handled is the best way of all.I hate to admit that but thinking of the alternatives gives me the willies.

Why don't you admit it's just a guess and not proven in any way?

IMO...There is nothing to show in those 2 cases you cited that it was intentional. It's another guess in the ufo field full of guesses.

I only know of one case(s) where it does seem intentional and that was the series of 'ray burns' that occurred in the Amazon area where Dr Vallee investigated and detailed in Confrontations. The locals there claimed that 'box-like' or 'refridgerator' shaped ufos sent beams at them especially during night time events. A few local fishermen claimed that they were harrassed by beams of light from these rectangular ufos that burned them while fishing at night. Local doctors did verify the burns in some of those cases.

One other comes to mind in the high strangeness case of the man who had to hide in a tree from an 'alien' and a 'robot' who was 'shooting' smoke at him that made him 'pass out'.That case to me is extremely odd to begin with.

btw...there are several cases where the witness claimed to be healed by a beam of light. The famous Dr X case in France that Vallee has written about is an example of this. That case is interesting on several levels since there were also alleged follow up contacts by a strange man and instances of paranormal activitythat continued for some time.

It's reasonable to assume in michalak's case. I don't think he was just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when the thing discharged or fired.

There was a late '70s case in which someone--Taylor? was attacked and hurt by odd entities from a UFO in the woods. There were others. In his old Situation Red Stringfield mentioned someone--Prestes(?--who literally melted when zapped.

Actually he was already in the tree before they came. Still, they definitely were coming after him.
