Sure, we shouldn't automatically believe every account. But all other things--witness quality etc--being equal, you can't just dismiss reports with "far out" aspects. Wu mentioned Vallee's view on that. And they don't have to be seen as contradicting the ETH--imagine what people a millennium ago would've thought of our TV or PCs("inconceivable, crazy!!").

Ok so wait again lol......a great religious power is basically saying that aliens are communicating through the mind and admitting it's what people meant when talking about demonic possission and that the good ones have voices like from heaven??? Considering history and written history, do they know what that could make the weird rituals and dress behaviors look like lolo?

It did make it to a Catholic (non-UFO) web paper, which I read some years back. Their inclusion of this admittedly weird info is one of the reasons why I posted it for Carol, who's interested in the Universal Churches' views on aliens.

I think our individual conclusions are informed by our individual beliefs about the nature of reality. High strangeness could be super advanced tech, artefacts of transitions between dimensions or demonic sorcery. If one believes that there is nothing but the physical here and now, the other options are more strange than super high tech. If one believes that there could be a lot more than the physical reality, an interdimensional or demonic conclusion may be less strange.

As you point out, maybe arguing about the origin of the phenomena is distracting us from the real issue of Why Are They Here? We are tied up discussing the question of origin while they move remorselessly toward their diabolical goals...

I completely disagree -- it should totally be CNN material of what exactly is being communciated to religious powers by aliens if they're making such claims.

Your right Dee,come to think of it didnt Betty Hill say something about the aliens dragging Barney,as a matter of fact I do believe that Barneys shoes were scuffed from being dragged,theres so much disinformation out there,but I do believe the Pascalouga men that say they were floated to a waiting saucer.
