How would you know what is relevant, unless you know that ultimate answer already?

I agree fast and slow moving UFOs (or heavenly chariots / sky dragons whatever) have been reported throughout history. However I do get the impression that with our own advancements in aviation in the second half of the 20th century, UFOs seem to have sped up. A relationship between our tech and their (whomever) activities seems intriguing. I suspect they mirror our minds, our human reality.

That's a good question but if one accepts the ETH then it's a moot point imo since the speed of the ufos would be pretty much the same unless they deliberately flew slow inthe past.
But if one accepts the EDH or some other alternate approach it might be relevant to that idea as you mentioned.

Nobody ever accused me of coming to my senses about anything before, doctor. And didn't you position yourself as open to all hypotheses, including the extraterrestial explanation for UFOs?

But I'll bite: based on what facts have you been able to exclude the ETH at this point?
