What ufo cases will you defend?

That is a formidable list, Carol.

I appreciate you listing Kelly, Kentucky. I've never figured that one out, and it was so compelling, I made a point to drive there a while back. No one else need to do that - there is NOTHING there to see. I believe a few worn out houses, a church, and maybe a few other things. I still have not found my pictures of it.

The Mantel case was one I grew up with, being from Louisville. The Star Trek episode referring to it is a favorite.

I had pinned most of my hopes on Roswell. It was always compelling to me.

I won't defend any of them as being actual space aliens but I will defend the idea that people have strange or paranormal experiences and that some interpret them as aliens. I don't think they are all made up and/or delusional people.

If I had to go into a court of law to defend a UFO case, I would choose Levelland. I won't say that this was a spaceship but something legitimately weird was playing hopscotch around that town back in 1957.

What is puzzling and annoying is that the "famous cases" who have well-spoken advocates may not be the best cases. What if some poor guy in 1958 Appalachia saw the one and only real alien flying saucer and then fell off the mountain and never got to tell anyone. That would be tragic.

I've noticed that debunking trend and countered it when I could, Carol. Weirdly looked at from the opposite perspective, I think there are about a handful of major hoaxes total that can be defended as deliberate, provable UFO hoaxes. Which leaves a tremendous, humongous, number of UFO cases I'm willing to defend.

I agree with ChrisPerridas and yourself about the Kelly case (and others) but one I'd defend (and have) is the Rendlesham Incident. (For newbies/guests here's a link to my Rendlesham beliefs, topic 1 and 2.)

I think your right,there not delusional but theve been led to believe that what they experienced is aliens from another world,surely DR.Wu you got an inkling as to what they are,hmm?
