MUFON International Director Dave MacDonald spoke about the future of the UFO organization at the 2012 MUFON Symposium in Covington, Kentucky. MUFON is encouraging younger people to joing who will move up in the ranks.

I've been working a month to meet my local Mufon representative but one thing or another keeps us from connecting. I'll keep trying.

Carol, I would like to help. However, I think I would be rejected. I have a full time job, lots of church obligations, and my spare time is usually tied up in small writing assignments in the horror field. The amount of time I would have is so small, the Mufon guy would think I was crazy. And of all the nights, he has the meetings on Wednesdays, which I am tied up on for church. They have no forum on the state board, so I can't assist that way, or enter into discussions.

I think they want people who can run at a moment's notice, and that is not me. I thought my chemistry background might help, but I doubt it. So, Carol, it is probably a pipe dream, but I would like to at least buy him a cup of coffee sometime.

I have seen other Kentucky web sites, but I think they are mostly defunct now. I work in Southern Indiana, but I wanted to start in my home state.

Im 20 and would leap at a chance for this , to be able to work with this kind of stuff (ufo phenomena) would be a dream. im in England but if some one said ''hey we will pay for you to come over and work for us'' i would bite there hand off and give 110% on the job...

There are suspicions about the Board of Directors. One former MUFON member claimed they covered-up a CE3 (A UFO landing with ET occupants) but that's just all hearsay.
