Could this be the Phoenix Craft?

I just rad about a craft supposedly designed by Northrup Grumman Called the TR6 "Telos". If this craft does exist could it possibly be the craft seen over Phoenix during the Phoenix Lights episode.

If thats not it Ill eat me hat.Stories of its taking off at warp speed is part of a deliberate disinformation scheme.I got my first clue that these craft were ours when a poster pointed out that these craft are only seen over NATO countries.

What do you think Chris,I had a newspaper clipping for years taped to a light on my computer desk,it was from the front page of the Wall Street Journal and it was the story of those Belgium sightings,I thought to myself at the time why are they so huge,I mean huge.Why are they so different from the conventional ufo weve all read about.The thing that kept me thinking it was an updated ufo was when I allowed myself to think about us meaning the government to deliberately put out disinformation about the take off speed,all I had to do was to read once that witnesses saw it take off at "warp speed" and I automatically went into filling in the blanks for myself. Btw,I wrote to Dr.Alexander whos book I have and he responded to my question regarding this Black Tri by saying he didnt know that it was ours,when I countered that with an article from NIDS saying that they have concluded that that Black Tri is ours with the people from NIDS are friends of his,go figure.

Carol - before you work yourself up into a lather, please note there there is absolutely no evidence that the TR-6 exists. The whole concept doesn't make any sense - how can they possibly call this low-observability when every junior-high kid is apparently able to pick them out in the night sky?

You know Skep,I just had my husband review for me the different designations of those letter a C in front of the number is a Cargo plane,an F is a fighter a B is a bomber,I asked him what if the designation was TR,he said this would indicate Trainer.Seems like an awful fancy trainer plane donit?

The thing that just doesn't fly with me is the idea that this alleged aircraft has been in testing for decades. No branch of the military is going to spend money on a program for that long when it has delivered no results. Add to that the fact that this alleged aircraft has no conceivable mission - who needs a huge, lumbering aircraft that apparently can't be used in daylight and is hard to miss at night? Lastly, if it is still an experimental craft, who in their right mind would test it in populated areas where it can be seen and where it can potentially fall on people?

No, the TR-6 is a myth, just like the Aurora was before that.

I don't know what this TR thing is, but TR could just be triangle. In any event, I have seen real news on very large semi-dirigible airships the size of football fields for large and heavy transport. And they have some kind of new bullet air ship. The other day it flew so fast the exterior hull melted off. Sadly, I think the military does spend a lot of money on prototypes that never fly, though usually private industry takes most of the expense on the chin in those kinds of debacles.

I still don't have my Jetson car.

TR means Tactical Reconnaissance. The only TR currently acknowledged is the TR-1A, which is an updated U-2. There used to be speculation about a TR-3, which was supposed to be a long-range recce aircraft. The American aerospace press has a horrible habit of just making this stuff up, based on the odd eyewitness report, a little radio monitoring, and "leaks" from "sources." The sources are virtually always playing some game of their own.

This TR-6 thing looks to me to have been made up out of nothing by some UFO fan. Google TR-3 and you'll eventually get to links to Aviation Week and Space Technology, notorious for this kind of thing and sometimes referred to as "Aviation Leak and Space Mythology." Google TR-6 and you get nothing but UFO sites.

What does the F in F-22 and other planes mean? Or P, as in P-51?

As in the F22 Raptor and the C5 Starlifter, what does the letter stand for? 10 points for whoever knows.
