Sure, Martin, and I lean to buying into the real alien hack angle here. It wouldn't make much sense for the US to go to all this legal trouble and to give this feller what amounts to effectively a life sentence in an American federal prison if he had not hacked into vital explosive information, and was merely lost inside his own mind !

McKinnon probably penetrated the secret NASA program, biggest secret they ever had.

PS: the reason there has to be a coverup is because the Christian majority is prone to mass hysteria. If the US has disclosure subsequently everyone interested in Ufology is burned alive at the stake, be careful what you ask for. You might just get it.

I'm glad they didn't throw him in jail but I don't think he found anything about aliens and or gubbermint involvement.

And that's the problem wth the whole ufo circus..some one can claim anything they want.

My gut tells me he hacked into a secure military site that pissed off those in charge , but I'll bet you he found out nothing about aliens and secret bases or whatever. IMO he had found something that was that highly classified about secret alien bases or whatever he would have been in jail from day one or ...dead. They just wanted to make an example of him regarding hacking imo.
Let's see what he says and if he produces any evidence or will it again come down to his word only.

I don't know what's worse, impersonating a dead man or thinking that telling mass hysteria prone Christians who already believe aliens are demons that aliens exist is a good idea.
